At a time when the nation was under lock down, caste-based violence was on the rise. The mainstream media conveniently turned a blind eye towards such gruesome incidents of caste oppression in the form of physical assault and social boycotts and the apathy of the State ensured that the affected communities had absolutely no access to justice. In this backdrop, we endeavored to document these caste atrocities while also trying to ponder upon the way forward.
